About Mike Brown

Mike Brown is an award winning photographer based in the West Cork town of Clonakilty where he runs his own Gallery.

Among the awards Mike has received for his work are:

Mike has also published three critically acclaimed books of his work:

He is always busy with various projects which have included working as the photographic consultant to the celebrity contestants on RTE televisions' "Wild Trials" programme which ran from 2003 to 2007.

Like most professional photographers Mike now works exclusively on digital cameras and has embraced this technology fully. As digital photography took the world by storm, Mike realised that literally millions of images must be stored on hard drives the world over and never get seen.

Mike has now partnered with Memo productions and launched Mike Brown Photobooks to provide a solution to this for all photographers. Mike was highly impressed with the quality of the books that Memo can produce and has made a number of one-off books from his own work.
